I am not sure if I should be impressed or concerned.
Now I must ask, Shouto told me there is a man in your world named Blue Jeanist who manipulates clothing, yes? Did he choose this name himself? Are such puns normal?
Oh, you mean Best Jeanist? You're half right, actually. Jeanist manipulates fibers. Mostly in clothing, yes, but he can also control steel fiber cords and stuff like that, too.
And I can't speak for anyone else, but...a Hero's code name is very special to them. Sometimes it can be a play on words, or a variation of an old Hero's name, to honor them, or just taking their mantle completely...as a tribute.
[Kirishima and Iida...both hold the torches of the Heroes they idolize exceptionally well.]
A lot of thought goes in to picking one that represents YOU.
Yup!! Mine is Uravity, like my network username, hee. ^o^ It's a mix of my family name, and my quirk, which has to do with gravity.
It's not super duper sentimental, or crazy creative, but...it's mine. ♥
[Midnight approved of it way back, when...yeah. Her sensei approved of it, and that alone is nice. Ochako still remembers that fondly, even if remembering the woman now is...bittersweet.]
Honestly I think I prefer your simplicity. Things like usernames and what not are difficult for me to come up with. I have been teased about my unoriginality before.
It's so cool being able to find someone upset on the beach or in the woods and be able to set up a campfire to make them tea and snacks right there. It's great. I recommend it for everyone.
If you've heard anyone talk about Julia Sodder, that's what I'm talking about. A lot of us were trapped in her nightmare before we woke up in Trench. She was so powerful that the adults around her didn't know what to do when she fell asleep, and they tried to use her...
But she was strong enough that she made sure she wasn't alone.
A year ago, the dream started falling apart. We tried to save her, and save ourselves... But, she never woke up.
Those of us who stayed through the end washed up here.
Hm...that name I feel like I recognize, but OH!! I think I remember now!!! Someone else told me about a child-like god that trapped people in her nightmare as she was dying... Was that sort of what happened?
We thought we were helping her at the end, but our actions didn't do a damn thing to save her. The best we can do is try to make this world a place to live our lives. But, I don't know.
Sometimes I wish we could have done something more for Julia.
I can't really weigh in, unfortunately... I wasn't there, and I don't know what fully happened, sort of like right now, but I still think you all tried the best you could.
As a Hero, I know how important it is to want to save every life...as many people as you can, no matter what. But the reality is, sometimes you just can't. There's things people can't be saved from by conventional means. I can't treat a deadly illness, even though I'm a Hero. I can't stop crime halfway around the globe. I can only...see what's in front of me, and do what I can.
...I think that's what my sensei tried to teach us all at the start of our schooling.

Someone who's really crazy for something in particular...like video games, manga, or in Deku's case, Heroes and quirk studies!
He's always muttermuttermutter when he gets going and
OOOHH!!
HE CAN PULL HIS NOTEBOOKS FROM THIN AIR!!
...i really dunno where he keeps them. (・∀・)

Though real, in this case.
... is this a quirk?
[kind of jealous if it is ngl]

lol, no, Deku-kun's quirk is something completely different.
That sort of thing...
It's a special poer only Deku has.

I see, do you have one of these names? From what I am gathering Deku is one, and I am unaware of Shouto's.
[he thinks jeanist is kind of silly still but. he will be polite the man apparently knows what he wants here, good for him]
