I don't care what people here call me. Most people back home call me Midoriya. Half the people I know here call me Deku, but that's pretty normal for someone with a hero name too. I don't really want to be a bother when so many of us come from different cultures and even worlds.
Where I come from, it's normal for different people to pick either first or last name depending on how they know the person. And where other people come from, sometimes they only use first names. I've put my full name here, so now you know.
Just keep calling me Midoriya like you've always been. You could add -kun on the end, but you don't have to. Depending on how they speak, not everyone back home does that anyway. And I don't expect non-Japanese-speaking people to remember. It's OK.
Kaworu-kun is a special case. It varies from person to person, so just ask him.

I know you're being polite, but this can get very confusing very quickly.

Did you want to be called San or Chan or...I think Ochako-chan said Kun? With your name?
What about Kaworu? Isn't he also Japanese? I'm not from Earth and I've met mostly people from America so far.
This is all kinda new.
