We are so deep in hypotheticals without specifics, it's hard for me to say. I don't believe our current existence is worse than death, for most people, so. It would have to be an incredibly convincing case with more than 'things could be better' backing it.
I personally have not had success, but I've also been busy with more personal stuff, unfortunately. I'm supporting Allen Walker's Sanctuary, and he and several others affiliated with it have, I am told, managed to bring back several beasts to their full senses.
Wise enough. So when you speak of the world, it is truly its people who are foremost in your mind? [To clarify; it's the way most humans--most people of any species--are wired, but not always the case.]
I hadn't heard of the Sanctuary--another thing, it appears, I've missed in my absence. Are the methods they've come up with something that can be used widely, do you know?
Another good question I should think about. My immediate thought is people that are EASIEST for me, as a usually human shaped person, to focus on, but a world is an entire complicated system and the system is a whole should be examined.
For one thing, I'm usually human shaped, but it's pretty clear to me that I'm not actually human anymore, since arriving in the ocean here. If 'anymore' is even the right word. Our memories tell we are not of this world originally, but our physical being is very much tied to this world, it seems. Who knows how altering this world might change Sleepers, too?
As for methods of reversing beasthood. One of the methods is specifically Allen Walker's sword, so that's limited. However, others have had success by connecting deeply mentally and emotionally to Sleepers they knew well, who has turned into beasts. The group at the Sanctuary is studying possible alchemical methods and records of more reliable methods to connect to beasts on an empathic/spiritual level.
I'm hoping to successfully learn some form of this last method. It will take time.
