I call him Anon-san, but that could describe any anonymous poster on deerNet... That's how I met him. Let's see... Teacher calls him Big Bird. Dunno if that's specific enough. To the human eye, he looks more humanoid than bird, or at least, I've met more birdlike people. Though, in some ways, he's more birdlike than anyone I've met... He's just very birdlike to us I guess, and that's also how he describes himself. Kaworu-kun calls him Old Man, but that describes a lot of people. I think of him as Kaworu-kun's Old Man. I think in some cultures people are described by their relation to others. But that could pose a safety risk here too. His username here is Merlinus. That could work. Paul-kun calls him that. It's simple, like how my username is Deku. Mr. Mysterious is probably too vague, BUT that's a great hero name!
I'd have a hard time pronouncing all those right, so it's all the same to me. I think I'd have more of an opinion if I knew the meanings of those names. Sorry...
[The man everyone keeps calling Teacher-- whom Oscar refuses to indulge due to his Creeper Radar going off and having a hand completely melt away.]
It's okay. I don't know what they mean, either. Now that I know him better, I'd probably name him after a friend who didn't follow us out of the dream.
I spoke to someone who didn't cross over but appeared here some months later. So there is the possibility of some confusion if you go with that. But also you might see your friend again!
He was very sick, by normal Earth standards. Heck, even by Remnant's standards. Would the Pthumerians call for someone who was going to face a slow and uncomfortable death?
If it helps, we can call him Gerard. Gerry wanted to be called Gerry by his friends...
I don't know, so I don't assume the Pthumerians control that.
Plenty of people are named for others, there are even heroes who choose hero names similar to others as a homage, but... I dunno. It's something important, unique. I ended up going with a hero name that was just my thing. You could ask Kaworu-kun? He and Anon-san are close. He'd probably have to say the use-name fairly often.
He's not sure how to answer the rest of his message. He doesn't think Oscar is making fun of him, but it's hard to tell over text. Midoriya is a bit sensitive, not for himself, but because Kaworu's feelings were hurt recently about it. Finally he settles for: ]

I know a bunch of you respect Sasha, but I've my reasons for not liking him. Also he's not here, so what he calls our bird friend doesn't matter.
Old Man can definitely be a term for a relationship, but he's probably older than a lot of us in here. I still think he needs a proper name, though.
Also, he used Merlinus for Paul, but I've seen him use Imyarek in this chat already. Sayo also calls him Forneus, I think.
Gosh, this is hard!

Gerard Keay.
... Gerry might find that funny, too.

Well, I know of three people named Rose, and it hasn't been too much of a problem.
