They checked out after that, but they asked one favor of her lover: to come back into the world, joining body and soul with others along the way, and walk the world until she's defeated.
But. She's had become an immortal, powerful, and very angry witch over the centuries. He has no way to stop her. So he's been living how he can, dying, becoming more emotionally broken, and being forced to switch into a body and lifetime he doesn't get to choose every time he dies-- and dragging others along with him along the way.
I'm his current host-- but my predecessor has his own body here, too. I wanna respect his privacy... But we share a soul
