He sounds like someone I'd expect to see on Remnant. Huntsman and Huntresses all are their own kinds of people, but they're always there in a crisis.

I look forward to working more with you and your friends!

Ahaha, I would DEFINITELY call Bakugou the "hunter" type, definitely!!
He loves to fight, and he's really REALLY good at it. Smart, too.

Likewise, Oscar-san!! You can rely on us all, and I'm sure we can depend on you as well!

Likes to fight, AND is smart?

Huh. I wonder if he and Ruby would like to spar one day. We'll need to set that up... and probably bring popcorn. There's gonna be fireworks.

Yup, Bakugou may seem like a delinquent when you first meet him, but he's actually one of the top of our class in terms of skill, power, AND intelligence.
He really is amazing...and shouldn't be taken lightly, or underestimated.
He may bark cutely like a loud and angry little doggy, but he can back all of that stuff up 300%. People tend to think he's stupid because all he does it shout threats and stuff...but then he surprises them with how GOOD he is at....everything.

[That's not even an exaggeration. Bakugou has the nickname Mr. Talented for a fucking reason. If he sets his mind to perfect something, he goes above and beyond.]

lol...there's going to be more than fireworks, I can assure you of that. (*¯︶¯*)
I'm a little sad I couldn't watch him fight at the past tournament...but it can't be helped.

Well, maybe we'll have a chance to see that if we can set him and Ruby up. She might seem like a goofball, but she's incredibly skilled, smart, and brave.

Honestly, I don't even know where I'd be without here.

But! I think this is definitely something they need to agree to. I don't think either will say no, but we've gotta get a good set up for it.

Just saying 'hey, can we watch you to fight?' seems kinda weird.

Sounds like it'd be a really fun fight!! Ruby-san definitely does seem very skilled, but is she a melee fighter, or strictly armed?
Because if she's only one, Bakugou-kun may have her beat...

[Since, even without his quirk, her blond friend is fast, strong, and has experience with hand-to-hand. She's trained with him before, and even done some sparring as well, back in Nippon. Bakugou is truly the best of the best - a well rounded fighter with little flaws to exploit...unless you know him and his fighting style pretty well.]

Hee, I feel the same about my friends, too.
If I didn't have Bakugou with me when I was in Nippon, I think I'd probably lose it real bad... ^^;;;

lol, knowing someone like Bakugou, he's probably already picked a fight.
He made a sort of war declaration last month calling for people to fight him because he missed the tournament.
...It's weird though, for some reason I couldn't see any of the replies.

Well, she helped me when I was learning hand-to-hand. We both prefer a weapon, but she's multi-talented!

I don't doubt your friend picked a fight. I wasn't paying attention to much of the stuff outside the tournament, but he's kinda...

Hot headed.

If you don't mind my asking, what was Nippon? Another place before you got here?

You have NO idea. (* ̄ω ̄*)

But if and when they do ever fight, I have to say...as his friend, I may root a little more for Bakugou.
Hopefully Ruby-chan can forgive me...

Oh, yeah!! Before me and Bakugou came here to Trench, we were in ANOTHER new world, called Nippon.
It was actually very similar to our home country, Japan (the named Nippon is actually the old way to say Japan, even), but sort of...like we went back in time. Very old in terms of technology, clothes, architecture, stuff like that.
And there was also magic, REAL magic, and spirits and monsters existed for real that only ever appeared in myths and folklore back home.

It's okay! I'm gonna be rooting louder for Ruby than Bakugou. She did start calling me her brother in the last place we were in!

It sounds like a lot of us came from somewhere else before. Anna, the cool bassist elsewhere in this chat, came from a big city where people started getting memories from other versions of themselves. Ruby and I were both in that nightmare town up until last summer.

Going back in time, with monsters and real magic? It sounds almost like a fantasy show. That must have been really neat for you!

Oh, that's wonderful... I've never had a sibling myself, but in all honesty, so many of classmates back home feel sort of like family.
I mean, I know we're NOT, but we're close enough it feels like we're siblings, some of us.

I mean, considering there are even other worlds at all, it makes sense, doesn't it?
Just you and I ourselves are technically from other worlds. And if a quirk even evolved so much to be able to pull people in through space-time like that...it'd be sort of like what we've experienced, y'know?
It was amazing when I first experienced it, but now I sort of just...accept it, I guess. Kinda like how there's different continents and countries on Earth itself, and how we're all different in regards to culture and stuff.
I've been treating it like that, kind of.

It was pretty cool!! Weird, definitely, and there was good AND bad all the same...
But if I can be honest, it was better than here. Nippon was a place I knew, because it was pretty much just JAPAN, but older. I knew everything about it already.
Plus, it was way safer, too. For the most part.

I imagine most places are safer than here.

I mean, Remnant isn't. But most worlds don't have monsters that are drawn to big, anxious crowds like they're candy from the boardwalk, either.

It's really nice that you got to go somewhere familiar before you washed up here. The dream town, Deerington, was supposed to be on some kind of Earth in a place called Maine. I really didn't entirely get it, but Remnant isn't related to any Earth.

I think Ruby and I adjusted to Deerington and this place a little better than a lot of people. We're used to monsters just popping up and making messes.

That's why we try to help where we can.

[Hah...haha. Well. Japan certainly isn't. Not right now, anyway. Not while All For One is still alive and kicking with the rest of the members of the League of Villains. If Ochako didn't already know that time sort of...stops...ish (it's weird, she still doesn't get it completely) when people come to different worlds, she's be worried sick about everyone left behind.]

Mine isn't either. Not right now.
I can't exactly talk about all the details, but the bottom line is that a war is waging in my country between Heroes and Villains.

Maine? I've never heard of that myself, I don't think... So it's no where near where I lived.
And my planet was Earth. Probably overseas somewhere in the west...

Yeah, fighting the Beasts here in Trench is a lot like battling Nomu back in Musutafu and stuff.
It's pretty scary, but I'm kind of used to it that way. Being a Hero means you just have to face your fears and fight.
It's not always easy, especially for me, since I'm...really scared of that kind of stuff, but I think I'm scared of losing people way more, you know?
So I get it - wanting to help everyone.

S'why I've been included in this too, probably.
Let's do our best, ne?
